This was a quickie, but so yummy! Lucian has found his one true mate that was prophesied would help an end to the war between the demons (who are the good guys) and the angels (jealous of humans & want to kill them). He doesn't tell her in the beginning who he is or what is going on, so when she sees him in his demon form she takes off and goes into hiding. No more spoilers, but suffice to say they end up happily together, save many innocents, and stop evil plans. Very good for a short HOT read!Product details

I read this book under it's original publication and loved it. It got me on my obsession with the angel/demon (mostly demon) storylines.
I hadn't read this story before and decided to pick it up and try it. It was good enough that it kept me reading until I was finished. It moves along very quickly and I like that. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for a quick read. The relationship between Lucien and Tessa basically explodes and it gets pretty hot real quickly. Perfect book for an afternoon read.

I loved every minute of the fantasy world within the pages of this book.
Tessa didn't know what she'd really stumbled upon late one Friday night in the office of her boss? Lucian or Lucifer had waited centuries for his mate and he was determined to find her!
This story grabs you from the very beginning and holds your attention until the end. It is an extremely fast paced book that is super easy to read and enjoy.

Hazel Gower is one of my go to authors, but this book didn't hit the mark. The story itself had potential, but I felt there was to much negative things for me that I barley finished it. First, the heroine catches the hero in the middle of a threesome and then literally a few days later he says she is his mate and then they sleep together. For me I hate when we have scenes in a book that has the hero with other women and I cringed when I read the scene. Also, I felt like Tessa was a little weak. I mean Lucian did stuff without her knowledge/permission and she didn't even defend it. This book was a let down for me, but I will continue to read Hazel's books and hopefully her next book will be much better.
Was a intriguing story and a different take on a demon/angel war. A interesting and different read from this author that i enjoyed.
Devil is the good guys and Angels are bad and when the king Lucian finds his human mate life is about to get hot &spicy
I liked this book a lot. It was a fast fun read. Great story. I loved the new take on demons and angels, very cool. I would love to read more about the brothers.
